Description for Quality Inspector:
The Quality Inspector will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products through rigorous inspection and verification processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding company quality standards
Responsibilities for Quality Inspector:
- Components Incoming Inspection Activities: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming components to ensure they meet specified quality standards.
- Notification of Out-of-Specification Parts: Promptly notify the appropriate team members if any component is found to be out of specification.
- CMM Results Verification: Verify Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) results for accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
- Sample Build Audit: Participate in sample build audits to assess the quality of prototype products.
- Samples QA Inspection and Release: Make final decisions regarding the release or rejection of samples based on quality specifications.
- Inventory Management (To Be Confirmed - TBC): Participate in inventory management activities as part of the team, though not in a responsible role.
- eWarrant Information Collection: Collect and maintain electronic warrant (eWarrant) information as required.
- Measurement Method Definition: Define and document measurement methods to ensure consistent quality assessment.
- Trackwise - Agile Software: Utilize Trackwise and Agile company software for quality control and documentation.
- Material Review Board (MRB) Inventory: Maintain and manage the MRB inventory of non-conforming parts.
- Team Meeting Attendance: Attend team meetings to report the status of quality inspection activities.
- Coordination with Sample Team: Collaborate with the sample team to coordinate inspection timings and sample runs.
- Quality Inspection Audits: Conduct quality inspection audits on sample builds to identify and address any quality issues
Requirements for Quality Inspector:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus).
- Previous experience in quality inspection or a related role.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and methods.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using Trackwise and Agile software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
