Training, technical documents, and oversight are provided by NEACO management.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs and conduct regular inspections of machinery and other mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to shop equipment.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address equipment malfunctions and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts replaced and repairs performed.
- Maintain cleanliness on all areas of the shop floor and machine shop.
- Understand, follow and implement all safety related standards and practices.
- Maintain and Service Material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.)
- 2+ years of similar or related work experience.
- Proven experience in maintaining and repairing machine equipment.
- Expertise with a wide range of tools, equipment, and systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
- Willingness to learn new skills and methods
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus
- Familiarity with aerospace materials (such as titanium, aluminum, and composites).
- Knowledge of FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) regulations and industry standards is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Associates degree or higher in a related technical field preferred.
- Trade schooling or related industry experience required.
- Relevant technical certification or vocational training in machining or mechanical maintenance
- Hourly position commensurate with experience level and skill level and/or certifications. ($24-$28)
