Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MySQL Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and optimize MySQL databases in Linux, Unix, and Windows environments.

The role involves ensuring database performance, reliability, and scalability, while collaborating with team leads to design and implement database strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and manage MySQL databases across various environments.
  • Develop and maintain MySQL database replication solutions.
  • Monitor database server performance, including CPU, IO, memory, and storage utilization.
  • Perform database query tuning to optimize performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve database availability and reliability issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for critical issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collect and analyze database performance metrics for regular reviews.
  • Collaborate with the DBA lead to design strategies for database performance improvement, capacity planning, and future growth.
Required Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with MySQL database installation, configuration, and management.
  • Strong knowledge of database replication and performance monitoring techniques.
  • Expertise in diagnosing and resolving database-related issues.
  • Proficiency in database query tuning and optimization.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with advanced database management tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of database capacity planning and performance metrics analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
