Senior Electrical Engineer

Description: We are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer with 10+ years who has experience within the Industrial and Power type projects. You will be responsible for leading design teams along with getting involved with the design for power and industrial projects. Candidates must have: • Have solid engineering design experience in power, industrial and high voltage substations (AIS and GIS). • Strong knowledge in applicable codes and standards (NEC, ANSI/ IEEE). • Valid P.E. in the US or have NCEES record. • Experienced in equipment sizing, specification, and selection (transformers, generators, motors, HV substation equipment AIS and GIS physical layout, elevation, conductor and bus bar sizing/selection, and material selection). • Experienced in developing one-line diagrams, 3-line diagrams, schematic diagrams. • Experienced in power system studies (load flow, short circuity, arc flash, relay coordination, grounding/lightning protection system,). • Familiar with power system analysis software such as ETAP, SKM, Easy Power, CDEGS. • Providing electrical engineering design on power and industrial projects. • Providing support on project scope and estimating. • Providing input to project cost and schedule. • Controlling and monitoring design budget. • Performing electrical system studies and calculations such as load flow and short circuit analysis, relay coordination and programming, arc flash analysis, grounding, and lightning protection system calculations. • Preparing engineering reports, tender and construction drawings, and documents. • Preparing equipment specification and selection and performing technical bid evaluation and making recommendations. • Preparing power distribution layouts, grounding and lightning protection system design and layouts. • Developing wiring diagrams, single line and three line diagrams and schematic diagrams. • Sizing and specifying electrical equipment. • Developing high voltage substation physical and protection and control system design. • Assisting with field construction, commissioning, and vendor factory acceptance tests. • Ability to effectively interact with other disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects. Skills: Revit, Electrical, Design, Electrical engineering, Electrical design, Professional engineer, ETAP, Easy Power, SKM Additional Skills & Qualifications: Having understanding Revit and at least one of the power programs such as ETAP, Easy Power, or SKM Experience Level: Expert Level Employee Value Proposition (EVP): A world leader in integrated project and program management consulting.
