Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team at Sensience. The incumbent will be responsible for leading and managing IT projects across the organization, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive project timelines, and provide leadership and direction to ensure the successful execution of all initiatives.

Position Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:
  • Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
  • Develop comprehensive full-scale project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and associated communication documents.
  • Manage project life cycles from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints.
Resource Management:
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Allocate resources and manage team members' daily tasks to ensure project success.
Stakeholder Communication:
  • Facilitate regular status meetings with project teams.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Risk Management:
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Identify and manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management.
  • Strong background in business, either through work experience, entrepreneurship, or college.
  • Proven experience in managing complex IT projects, with a strong track record of delivering on time and within budget.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Experience with Smartsheet or other Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
