Job Description: Solar Electrical Apprentice

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $19-$23 per hour

Location: Phoenix, AZ

NeRD is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Solar Electrical Apprentice. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage. If you are passionate about renewable energy and eager to learn the ins and outs of solar electrical systems, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar electrical systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.
  2. Learn and apply electrical and safety codes related to solar energy systems.
  3. Assist in assembling, installing, and maintaining solar panels, inverters, and other equipment.
  4. Aid in troubleshooting and resolving issues with solar energy systems.
  5. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational or technical training is a plus.
  2. Basic understanding of electrical principles and systems.
  3. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  4. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
  5. Excellent communication in both English and Spanish.
