We are actively seeking an enthusiastic PRN CT Technologist to support all shifts at our Outpatient Imaging Center. The ideal candidate will join our team to provide quality imaging services using advanced technology and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required
  • Registered CT Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB(CT)) in Computed Tomography
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist or two years of experience as a Radiological Technologist with CT education or experience, preferred

Job Description

The PRN CT Technologist will perform CT scans on patients, prepare patients for CT scan, explain procedures, administer contrast when necessary, and ensure technical quality of the scan. This individual will also enter and monitor patient data, perform quality assurance on CT equipment, and identify and report any accidents, complaints or equipment malfunctions. Additionally, the PRN CT Technologist will be required to take emergency call within the department and may need to work weekends and float to other locations as needed.
