One of the nation's largest diagnostic imaging centers, has an immediate need for MRI Tech (Direct-Hire).

Position Type: Direct Hire/ Perm
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 02:00am-10:00pm, & every 3rd Saturday 07:00am-04:00pm
Location: Montclair, NJ

Job Summary:
• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angel, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Administer Contrast and IV experience perferred
• 1.5 Siemens Scanner machine used

Requirements:
• ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
• CPR certification
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred

Skills:
• EMR - Epic and McKesson
