Lab Department Overview: Join our vibrant department featuring a cutting-edge automation line, Epic Beaker, and SoftBank LIS Systems. As an MLT/MLS, you will be a key member of our team, committed to providing outstanding laboratory services and driving innovative advancements in healthcare.
MLT / MT / MLS Functions:
- Perform complex laboratory procedures across various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Analyze and interpret laboratory data, maintaining high standards of quality control and assurance.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development activities.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) through ASCP or equivalent accrediting agency.
- Proficiency with laboratory information systems (LIS) such as Epic Beaker and SoftBank is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
