EDUCATION/TRAINING

•         Able to acquire forklift sit-down counterbalance certification.

•         Able to acquire crane certification. 

•         Knowledgeable in basic fiberglass and composite repairs.

•         Able to follow instructions/work well with others.

•         Some computer skills.

•         Have required tools.

•         Able to perform physical requirements of the job to include walking long distances in a quick manner on uneven surfaces, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. regularly occasionally on uneven surfaces, prolonged periods of standing, crawl and lay on uneven surfaces, able to work in tight and awkward positions, able to safely work at heights above 10 feet, and constantly aware of surroundings.

•         Able to become familiar with EPA regulations associated with fleet body shop repair. 

•         Have a valid Utah Driver’s License.

•         Must be "team minded" and "Pride driven".

EXPERIENCE

•         Two-years previous work experience in the body industry or related trade school experience or equivalent apprenticeship program training.
•         Experience in fleet body repair or automotive or industrial painting.
•         Knowledge in welding experience.



WORKING CONDITIONS

This is a physically demanding position.  Will stand six to eight hours per shift.  Will lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds.  Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, paint, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
