Position Details:

  • Earn $300 per night.

  • Work Sunday through Thursday nights, two turns from approximately 7 PM to 5 AM.

About the Role:

As a Shuttle Driver, your responsibilities will encompass the vital task of transporting empty trailers to our Operating Company warehouses and delivering full trailers to shuttle yard locations. You will ensure that products arrive safely and on time, acting as the face of our company and building lasting relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct safety checks (pre/post trip) in line with DOT regulations.

  • Report safety issues and perform necessary maintenance checks.

  • Adhere to DOT regulations and company driving policies at all times.

  • Complete all necessary route paperwork prior to dispatch.

  • Efficiently drive according to a predetermined route schedule.

  • Execute hook/unhook procedures as per safety guidelines.

  • Properly park and store tractor trailers in designated areas.

  • Secure and lock all equipment and freight at all times.

  • Handle damaged goods and customer returns as necessary.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the trailer and loading dock area.

  • Document hours of service in compliance with Federal and state requirements.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to enhance company service.

Qualifications:

  • At least 12 months of commercial tractor trailer experience.

  • High school diploma, GED, or state-approved equivalent.

  • Internal candidates must be in good standing.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement and must be at least 21 years old.

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.

  • Willingness to work third shift, Sunday through Thursday nights (schedules may vary).

  • Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

  • Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to secure one.

  • Ability to lift and handle products ranging from 10 to 90 pounds.
