Monday - Friday 4pm-9pm
Weekends 4hr shifts flexible times.

Male with Parkinson's
ADL's

• Medications 5x/day
• Assist with dressing and undressing as needed
• Meal prep for every meal
• Light housekeeping to keep his room and bathroom tidy
• Guide physical therapy exercises
• Verbal cues when walking (telling him to "take big steps" if he gets stuck/frozen)
• Emotional reassurance for anxiety and confusion, reviewing calendar of plans
• Some basic iPhone and iPad support
• Some bathing help with showers

Client is looking for a caregiver that meets the following criteria:

• 40-60 years old
• Present in the moment.
• Timely
• Warm
• Proactive
• Patience
• Experience with Parkinson's
• Compassion
• Honesty
• Directness
• Alertness
• Gentleness
• Anticipating needs without being pushy
• Warm sense of humor (not sarcastic or cynical)
• Someone who is up on current events
• More reserved and calmer, steady
• Don't want someone who is too high energy or chatty

Clients Interests:

• Will spend most days reading the paper or New Yorker, listening to NPR, watching local news, weather, and sports, and watching basketball (Duke and the Warriors).

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
