Farnsworth Group is seeking a Systems Engineer (Microsoft/Azure) to be based in our Bloomington, Champaign, or Peoria, IL office. Job Activities: Deploy, manage, and maintain Azure and on-prem Windows infrastructure Support site LANs and SDWAN utilizing Cisco and Meraki equipment Administer Office 365 environment, including Exchange Online and SharePoint Online Maintain PRTG platform for environment monitoring and alerting Identify opportunities for, and assist with automation and digitization projects Provide security insight and assistance, serve as escalation point for systems-related issues Manage and execute various IT projects as required Specific Requirements include: Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience 5 years experience in a Systems Administration or Engineering role Demonstrated experience with Entra, AD, PowerShell, Azure and M365 Suite Experience with network design and knowledge of best practices Strong technical problem-solving skills Effective written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with SOAP and REST API integrations preferred PowerBI/PowerApps experience a plus Microsoft, Cisco, or other industry certifications preferred About Farnsworth Group Farnsworth Group is an award winning, employee-owned engineering, architecture, and surveying firm with more than 500 employees located in nearly 30 offices nationwide.
