DEPARTMENT OVERVIEWThe Emergency Department team at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Detroit Lakes is comprised of 5 physicians, 2 Physician Assistants and 3 Nurse Practitioners. This engaged and inspired team collaborates to ensure the highest level of care. The team works to achieve health and vitality in our communities by caring for patients in the Emergency Department setting and creating an environment to exceed the expectations of our patients and families. We are committed to zeropreventable harm and providing the highest qualityand service to all patients that we serve.Essentia Health is led through a dyad leadership structure. A clinician assumes responsibility for the clinical vision, alongside a dyad partner in operations. This partnership allows for alignment and movement toward strategic goals, both clinically and operationally.
