What You Will Be Doing As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include designing and implementing Mission Planning software components in a Windows environment. Duties include requirements analysis, designing/developing C# and C++ software components in MS Visual Studio, development of software component test cases, procedures, drivers and integration of developed components with associate contractor developed components. Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to: -Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities -Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. -Apply knowledge of computer software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. -Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. It is possible that travel will be required to both customer and supplier sites. It is possible that travel will be both within and outside the Continental United States (CONUS). Candidates filling this position will need a US citizen and will need a clearance at the level specified in “Clearance Level” or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
