We are currently seeking a Senior Hardware Test Engineer to join our team, specializing in our Intelligent Infrastructure division. In this exciting role, you will apply innovative approaches to hardware testing and debugging for various Advanced Compute Platforms. You will collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, internal engineering, program management, and quality teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards.

SUMMARY
The Senior Hardware Test Engineer is responsible for leading and mentoring Test Engineers while managing all aspects of test procedures and equipment for electronic circuit board production in a server manufacturing environment. Utilize your expertise to identify root causes of issues, resolve hardware and software challenges, automate testing processes, and evaluate system performance for cutting-edge AI/ML, GPGPU, and hardware accelerator-based server and storage platforms.

Shift / Schedule:

  • Night Shift: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Wednesday, and every other week Monday through Thursday.
  • Example: 36 hours week 1 (Monday - Wednesday), 48 hours on week 2 (Monday - Thursday), etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadership: Guide and mentor Test Engineers I & II, focusing on recruitment and retention.
  • Employee Development: Identify team strengths, create and validate training programs, and ensure team excellence.
  • Performance Management: Set measurable goals, provide feedback, and promote continuous improvement.
  • Functional Leadership: Define and implement test engineering strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Technical Responsibilities: Oversee engineering test functions, evaluate procedures and equipment, and assist in developing special test equipment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 5-10 years of experience in hardware product development, preferably with enterprise server, storage, or networking products.
  • Expertise in Linux and Linux Shell, with the ability to train technicians.
  • Strong statistical analysis skills for data-driven decision making.
  • Proficiency in Bash and Python programming.
  • Strong understanding of computer and server hardware concepts.
  • Experience in multi-site and multi-cultural environments.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is based primarily in an office setting with time spent on the manufacturing floor, which is modern, well-lit, and climate-controlled. Required PPE includes composite-toed shoes, hearing protection, protective eyewear, and an ESD vest.
