As a Speech Therapist, you will provide speech therapy services to designated students to achieve speech therapy goals and improve overall speech functioning. This includes direct instruction, consulting with school staff, parents or guardians, writing IEP goals and interventions, and attending IEP meetings.

  • Evaluating, planning, and implementing speech therapy programs
  • Monitoring services and providing progress information
  • Employing speech therapy strategies and techniques
  • Writing periodic reviews on students progress
  • Managing case records and maintaining session documentation
  • Establishing effective communication with families
  • Collaborating with other professionals

Qualifications Required:

  • Master's degree in speech pathology or a related field
  • State speech language pathology (SLP) license
  • Prior experience working in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with relevant technology including computers and Microsoft Office Suite
