IT Technician-Field

Our IT Department is growing and we are excited to be searching for an IT Field Technician for our teamThe IT Technician is the main point of contact for the day to day support requests and overall technical triage efforts both on site and remotely. Will work collaboratively with the Director of IT, updating and providing information on all issues and unresolved problems. We have 11 stores in NY and NJ, with 7 of our stores located here on Long Island This individual will be responsible for working in the field, traveling to our stores for the day to day IT resolution. (Western Nassau, Queens locations could be ideal for candidate residence). Responsibilities Will be the main point of contact for day-to-day support requests and overall technical triage efforts as needed, both on-site and remotely.Individual will respond to service tickets in a timely manner, working together to coordinate with the other IT Field TechniciansWill provide hardware and software troubleshooting and repair, both remotely and on-site visits Will be responsible for the deployment of new/replacement equipmentWill work together with the IT Field Technicians on all Inventory and the management of IT equipmentWill form a good working relationship with corporate management and store management, creating a symbiotic working relationship for the full circle completion of projects and resolution of IT issuesAct as point of contact with vendors for service calls for our phone systems, hardware, software, etc.Be an additional resource to the IT Department for IT projects for existing stores and new store openingsOther duties and functions as assigned Requirements AS/BS Degree in Information Technology or related fieldMust have 1-3 years of experience working in IT in a relevant capacityMust have a full depth experience with MS Windows and MS OfficeExperience with remote-in such as Log Me In is a plusMust have working experience with networking, switches and routersWillingness to travel between our store locations dailyMust have a reliable automobile and a valid NYS drivers licenseDetail oriented with all aspects of the position including maintaining site and service logsExcellent communication skills, great time management and project management skills are crucial for this positionMust be very flexible to meet the IT demands of our stores and corporate employees A car allowance is offered with this position.
