Natural talent for creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere for guests.Responsibilities:* Ensure a warm welcome by promptly setting up the dining area, maintaining cleanliness, managing room service, and cashier duties* Embrace the Host/Hostess role by handling reservations, seating guests, offering beverages, making recommendations, addressing inquiries, greeting guests warmly, and even sharing weather updates* Prioritize safety and security by adhering to hotel protocols, proactively identifying issues, and promptly reporting concerns to management Responsibilities: • Welcome and greet all arriving guests warmly with a friendly demeanor at the host stand. • Efficiently manage the floor plan using the Resy Reservation system. • Assist in clearing tables when necessary during service. • Maintain flexibility in work schedule to cover mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Perform effectively in high-demand situations with ease. Qualifications: • A high school education or equivalent is preferred for this Host-Hostess position in Fairport, NY, US. • Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred. • The role requires the ability to work long hours when needed. • Physical demands include light work such as lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently, as well as the ability to multitask. • Candidates should be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with their body and arms, work in varying temperatures and noise levels. • Near Vision is necessary for seeing details at close range. • The job involves standing and walking for extended periods of time. • Fluency in English is a must. • The role may involve working in stressful, high-pressure situations. • Multi-tasking skills are essential for this position. Compensation: $15.25 - $16.50 hourly
