Clean Harbors is seeking a Chemical Waste Management Specialist to handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste in accordance with Federal/State/Local regulations and company policies. This position involves work at various facilities and customer sites, including lab packs, household hazardous waste collections, and lab moves.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety practices
  • Prepare packing lists, labels, and manifest
  • Inspect storage areas and drums for compliance
  • Segregate and package waste chemicals for disposal
  • Execute jobs at customer locations, including fortune 500 companies
  • Ensure projects comply with regulations and health and safety plans
  • Understand customer-specific disposal restrictions

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's license
  • Strong customer service skills
  • CDL Class B (or ability to obtain one)
  • Successfully complete background check, drug test, and physical

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework in Chemistry or Natural Science
  • Previous experience in Environmental Services
