Job Title: Senior Accountant Job Description We are looking for a diligent and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle various accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, reconciliations, and general ledger management. Special projects may also be assigned as needed. Responsibilities Code, process, and pay invoices for accounts payable. Process billings, manage receipts, and deposit payments for accounts receivable. Weekly payroll processing, including necessary deposits, maintaining HR records, and processing quarterly reports. Monthly reconciliation of A/R, A/P, G/L accounts and balancing vendor statements. Check accounts reconciliations, perform monthly reconciling of accounts, print and review monthly balance sheets and income statements. Participate in special projects as assigned. Essential Skills Experience with accounts payable, journal entry, reconciliation, accounts receivable, general ledger, billing systems, and payroll. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2+ years of accounting experience. Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of construction accounting is helpful but not necessary. Experience with Sage Construction Accounting software is a plus.
