SummaryThe Surgical Technologist III functions in a perioperative surgical technologist role under the direction of the circulating Registered Nurse. Able to prioritize, organize and implement care of the surgical patient. Works with Registered Nurse specialist as a clinical resource. Is responsible for supplies/instrumentation and education in areas of expertise. Performs call obligations as assigned.
RequirementsEducational Requirements Degree/Diploma Obtained Program of Study Required/Preferred and/or High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Additional Requirements
Graduate of accredited program for surgical technologists.

Meets all standards and competencies for Surgical Technologist II. Demonstrates proficiency in specialty/specialties
