Warehouse Assistant

This temporary position will be primarily responsible for receiving items in the warehouse and staging and assembling furniture as needed to go out to the communities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assemble furniture as necessary.
  • Light building maintenance as needed. (Changing light bulbs)
  • Pick up and deliver model furniture as assigned.
  • Maintaining supply room with office supplies and ordering as needed.
  • Deliver and set up model furniture revisions as needed.
  • Receive and process furniture and accessories.
  • Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the Perry Homes warehouse.
  • Oversee movers during loading and unloading of items.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Requires at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Current, valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
  • Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
