OVP Health is actively seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine or EM-experienced Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician to help grow our Ohio Health O'Bleness program in Athens, Ohio.

OVP is a family-owned physician group practice company focused on the delivery of hospitalist and emergency department physicians. OVP's physicians and affiliated providers practice in hospitals and other inpatient facilities. The current opportunity is provided by OVP as contracted by Ohio Health O'Bleness.

Job Description:
  • Board Certified Emergency Medicine -OR- Board Certified Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with EM experience are welcome to apply
  • Physician-led organization
  • 28k/yr ED volume
  • 22 bed ED
  • 24 hours/day of physician coverage (12-hour shifts)
  • 36 hours/day of APP coverage
  • EPIC
  • Full-Time Employee (FTE) or Independent Contractor (IC)

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine -OR- Board Certified in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience
  • Experience in Emergency Medicine of at least 12 months/2,000 hours
  • OH License (in hand or in process)
  • List of procedures the provider is experienced in performing (note in "Experience" field)
  • Permanent Placement Fee (note in "Additional Submission Details" at name clear)
  • Proof of COVID Vaccination Status (upload as a Document)

  • We provide oncology and infusion services to treat cancer and offer programs for cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation and diabetes and heartburn treatment.
  • Our facilities include a 24 hour Emergency Department, as well as a surgery center and birth center.
  • Our UpBEAT program offers a range of benefits and services free of charge to its membership, the senior members of our community. Monthly programming includes health and lifestyle education seminars, exercise opportunities, interest groups, a newsletter and social service information and referrals.
