Clinical Subject Matter Expert

Key Role:

Leverage expertise in the aspects of the value assessment of health technology and drugs.Lead and grow a team with the responsibility to develop an interdisciplinary team to analyze clinical evidence, perform reviews of clinical studies, collect information to assess value, and lead a team of experts in a forum like a Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee to evaluate medication use and outcomes. Leverage client-specific knowledge to lead, plan, and manage quality assurance and validation techniques for clinical information, and literature searches, and provide expertise and guidance in appropriate intersectionality of clinical, humanistic, and economic principles. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a clinical environment with working in conditions, treatment options, alternatives, and key factors for value assessment of selected drugs
  • Knowledge of Medicare Part B and Part D Drug Programs
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Doctorate degree
  • Board Certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with delivering technical assistance to a wide range of stakeholders and using a variety of delivery techniques
  • Experience in facilitating large meetings with both internal and external audiences
  • Experience with the federal procurement and proposal processes
  • Possession of excellent clinical, management, and organizational skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
