We are currently in search of a seasoned Superintendent to manage our underground utility projects from start to finish.

Position Summary:

As a Superintendent, you will be in charge of managing and coordinating every aspect of our site development projects. Your role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This position demands a strong leader with substantial experience in heavy and civil construction, particularly in asphalt paving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily operations of asphalt construction projects, including scheduling, resource management, and quality assurance.
  • Oversee and direct field personnel, subcontractors, and equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations, project requirements, and company standards.
  • Track project progress and address any emerging issues or delays.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
  • Review and approve subcontractor work and inspect completed tasks.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, daily updates, and other necessary documentation.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Proven track record as a Superintendent in heavy and civil construction, particularly in site development.
  • In-depth knowledge of asphalt materials, machinery, and construction methods.
  • Ability to manage large projects and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in construction software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Thorough understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, PMP) are advantageous.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in asphalt construction, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
