MLR is working closely with a trusted healthcare system in South Carolina to hire a committed Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time, permanent role within their Orthopedics department.

Position Summary:
  • Full-time, permanent role specializing in orthopedic care.
  • Support the assessment, planning, and implementation of patient care for those with orthopedic conditions.
  • Deliver hands-on care, including wound management, administering medications, and post-operative assistance.
  • Work closely with physicians, RNs, and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on orthopedic treatments, recovery plans, and rehabilitation processes.
  • Monitor patient recovery and promptly report any notable changes to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure adherence to healthcare standards and regulations.
LPN - Orthopedics Requirements:
  • Active LPN license in South Carolina (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Experience in orthopedics or a related field is preferred; new graduates with a keen interest in orthopedics are also encouraged to apply.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
