Summary:

The Data Labeling Associate will work with Machine Learning Engineers to gather and analyze unstructured documents and data sets. The position identifies crucial information within the data to annotate text and images that will be used to train machine learning models. The individual is responsible for accurately and quickly labeling the documentation received by TackleAI from customers and partners.

Job Functions:

  • Process data and complete data entry according to the specifics of each project
  • Annotate images and text (data labeling)
  • Utilize the GUI (Graphical User Interface), Label Studio, and Microsoft Excel with minimal supervision
  • Review AI generated data sets
  • Compare database outputs to generated sets
  • Perform Quality Assurance checks and provide feedback to peers
  • Provide updates on standup and promptly respond to requests in Slack (among other communication methods)
  • Offer assistance to peers when needed
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Produce quality work with minimal mistakes (subject to the nature of the project)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate written alphabetical and numerical information, primarily written in English
  • Must be able to interpret and manipulate data from computer and human generated reports, software programs, technical manuals, and written correspondence
  • Basic aptitude for manipulating various computer technologies such as moving documents between programs and converting files into specific formats
  • Proficient with MS Office products, specifically Excel
  • Proficient in Google Suite, especially Google Sheets
  • Fluent reading and writing in the English language
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills within peer group and across teams
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgement
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree in a computer related field a plus
  • Some experience in data analysis
  • Experience in labeling and/or excel-style software a plus
