California Primary Care
• Total providers are in the group There are currently two Pediatricians and 2 PNP/NP s(with plans for growth), two Internal Medicine physicians and 3 NP (with plans for growth) and 3 Family Medicine Physicians(with plans for growth)
• Call schedule - This is evolving plans will be for telephone coverage only, rotating 1:5 or 6 later in 2023; their patients are covered by the adult hospital medicine group and Pediatrics by Hospitalist pediatric group
• Average 20-22 patients/day
Compensation/Benefits
• Compensation expectations - Internal Med/Family Practice: $300,000
• Guaranteed salary for 2 years
• RVU bonus offered
• Benefits - $1,000 Stipend for benefits (if employed, traditional PPO, Dental, etc.), Med mal premium reimbursed
• $25,000 sign-on, and $15 relocation (if moving full time to Ridgecrest)
• 4 weeks PTO and 1 week paid CME
• CME allowance -Typically $3,000/year
• EMR = Paragon (hospital and ambulatory clinics)
• NHSC loan repayment (2 clinics and hospital all eligible)
Able to sponsor J1 through HHS - they are cap exempt from Conrad 30 requirements.
2 hours to Bakersfield, CA
2.5 hours to Los Angeles, CA
4 hours to Las Vegas, NV
6 hours to San Francisco, CA
