Franchise Administrator

Full or Part Time (approximately 30-40 hours/wk) Cleveland, OH, Kansas City, MO, or Remote Position Summary Flynn Group, the world’s largest franchise operator, seeks an experienced Franchise Administrator (“FA”) to support its dynamic and growing organization. Supporting the Associate General Counsel, Real Estate, Commercial & Franchising, the FA will play a key role supporting the company’s various franchise operations. This a full or part-time (30-35 hours/wk) contract position which may be fully remote or based in our Independence, OH; Overland Park, KS; or San Francisco, CA Support Centers. Responsibilities Support franchise agreement lifecycle, including tracking new, expiring, and renewal franchise agreements, redlining agreements and summarizing updates, verifying terms and dates, and liaising with franchisors in written and oral communication. Partner with cross-functional teams (Real Estate, Lease Administration, Corporate Development, Accounting, and Operations) to develop and support detailed tracking and reporting of Franchise and Development Agreements, incentives, payments and remodel requirements. Partner with Real Estate team to help support recovery and fulfillment of development incentives and other one-off, location-specific agreements to ensure the proper receipt of all benefits due to the company. Lead monthly/quarterly meetings with franchise counterparts at franchisors; communicate on regular basis regarding outstanding documents, pipeline, and document /form changes. Review and process franchise documents including new locations, closures, amendments, and relocations. Develop scalable processes for 7-brand franchise system. Perform various administrative tasks as needed. Required Skills Associate of Arts or Bachelor’s degree required Proficiency with various systems including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, PowerBI), Adobe Acrobat Professional, Smartsheets, and videoconferencing platforms, such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom Ability to prioritize and multi-task Ability to work with multiple groups in a cross-functional role Self-starter and willingness to learn and adapt Responsive and committed to exceptional client service Excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, efficient and productive at managing multiple priorities Prior franchise experience a plus Company Background Flynn Group was founded by Greg Flynn in 1999 as a small operator and developer of Applebee’s restaurants in Washington State.
