Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct Speech therapy services as well as its programs and activities in accordance with current regulations and guidelines that govern the skilled nursing facility. Maintains and completes accurate documentation, department records and reports. Initiates referrals when appropriate and in accordance with Speech Therapy Department procedures. Conducts screenings of residents at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment. Interprets and communicates evaluation findings to residents, family, and other team members.
