Responsibilities:

Process Development Engineer (junior), Supplement Product Development

  • Responsible for developing rugged and qualified process instructions for new nutritional supplement products. Close coordination with formulation scientist.

  • Responsible for scale-up and coordination of pilot trials batches.

  • Responsible for technical transfer to full-size plant trials and development of qualification/validation plan.

  • Develops technical implementation timelines and communicates milestone progress and technical results to Project Manager, Technical Project Leader and rest of project team.

qualifications:

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering or related technical field. MS preferred.

  • 2+ years experience in pharmaceutical, nutrition, food or related process industry

  • 1 year minimum experience in solid-dose process development and engineering

  • Effective communication skills.

  • Previous nutrition experience strongly desired.
