A healthcare system in Connecticut is currently a licensed Physician, with a Family Medicine background, for a promising Primary Care Physician opportunity at one of their facilities in Fairfield County.
About the Opportunity:
- Specialty: Family Medicine
- Setting: Medical Clinic
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (4 days a week; no weekends or nights)
- Hours: 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm (32 hours a week)
- Patient Population: All ages
- Patient Volume: 16 per day
Responsibilities:
The Primary Care Physician will be responsible for;
- Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs
- Conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visit
- Treating patients in-office or in testing centers; conducting occasional tele-health visits
- Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
- Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
- Supervising one or more NP or PA colleagues
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Connecticut
- Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Family Medicine or Medicine / Pediatrics Residency program
- Board Certified / Eligible in Family Medicine or Medicine / Pediatrics
