  • Pen Bay Medical Center - a 99-bed, full-service community hospital overlooking beautiful Penobscot Bay in Rockport.
  • Pen Bay Physicians & Associates - a multi-specialty physician group practice dedicated to ensuring that the healthcare needs of the residents and visitors of Midcoast Maine are met.
  • Quarry Hill - Midcoast Maine's premier extended care community for adults 55+, Quarry Hill provides unsurpassed independent, assisted-living, short- and long-term nursing care and specialized memory-loss care.
  • Position Summary This position consists of 40 hours per week. Every 3rd weekend with some evening coverage. The ideal candidate demonstrates certification to administer vaccines and experience with community outreach.
    • Reviews and interprets medication orders utilizing profiles to help ensure appropriate pharmaceutical care for all patient age groups, including identification of undesirable drug interaction, prevention of duplicate drug therapy, prevention of allergic drug reaction, and dispensation of correct medication doses for patient's clinical condition.

  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college.
    • License/Certifications: Current licensure as Pharmacist in the State of Maine.
    • Experience: Previous experience in hospital pharmacy desirable.
