We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Addiction Specialist to join our team at Women's Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center located in Vandalia, Missouri. The Certified Addiction Specialist is responsible for coordinating all substance abuse/addiction program activities in a correctional setting. This includes providing intake, assessment, treatment planning, and group and individual counseling. Qualifications License not required, but must be one of the following: Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CRADC) Certified Reciprocal Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CRAADC) Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor - Provisional (RADC-P) Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJP) Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor (RADC) Co-occurring Disorder Professional (CDP) Co-occurring Disorders Professional Diplomat (CDPD) Current active CPR certification required Ability to pass and maintain a security background clearance Available Shift: Monday-Friday, Days, 8:00am-4:30pm
