About the job Business Analyst

Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to provide valuable insights and support decision-making processes across various departments within our food manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, business process optimization, and project management, with a keen understanding of the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and other software to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business performance and operations.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other analytical tools using Power BI and Excel to provide stakeholders with actionable insights and KPIs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key metrics and performance indicators for tracking and measuring business objectives.
  2. Business Process Improvement:

    • Evaluate existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable recommendations for process enhancements.
    • Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and reduce costs across the organization.
  3. Project Management:

    • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects and initiatives aimed at driving business growth and improvement.
    • Coordinate with project teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and priorities.
    • Track project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and propose solutions to keep projects on track and within budget.
  4. Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive dynamics within the food industry.
    • Monitor competitor activities, product offerings, and market positioning to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to understand business needs, priorities, and challenges.
    • Communicate findings, recommendations, and insights effectively through presentations, reports, and other communication channels.
    • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to foster collaboration and support the achievement of business objectives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, finance, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or similar role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI, Excel, SQL, and others.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of business processes, project management principles, and industry best practices.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
