ROLE

Under close supervision, this entry-level position involves safely and efficiently moving and washing carts and containers within the fleet to ensure their optimal operation and appearance.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Efficiently repairs, cleans, washes, and details all carts and containers, and occasionally trucks.
  • Notifies management of the need for major repairs and communicates any safety concerns.
  • Safely operates pressure washing equipment, backpack blowers, and other related equipment.
  • Occasionally assists with on-site trash cleanup.
  • Transports cleaning supplies and assists with incident response, such as oil spills, in the field.
  • Identifies, reports, and addresses any damages or hazards related to the fleet.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is:

  • Knowledge of job site safety principles, potential hazards, and state and local regulations, including general company operations.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with basic computer programs.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
