Job Description

The Nurse Practitioner provides care to patients and their families in the ambulatory care setting based on standards of nursing practice. Assesses patients, develops nursing care plan for treating actual or potential health problems, and provides education and counseling; delegates tasks when necessary. Responsible for the completion of clinical reports and documentation in the ambulatory care area.
