Position Overview:

Address nutritional issues arising from medical conditions, including surgical support, weight concerns, dietary guidelines, and lifestyle change support. Exercise sound judgment and developed clinical skills to implement patient plans of care. Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures.

Job Description:

EDUCATION:

Completion of an accredited degree and supervised practice program.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

RD-Registered Dietitian/RDN-Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

If eligible to sit for the registration examination for dietitians, must pass within 90 days of hire.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 

2 years recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Strong understanding of human anatomy, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Well-developed time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures. General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHR). Ability to interpret data, work autonomously, and build collaborative relationships.
