Our client, a leader in the E-commerce industry, is seeking a User Experience Researcher (contractor) to join their team. As a User Experience Researcher, you will be part of the UX Research Team supporting the International Design Team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully with the organization's goals.
Job Title: User Experience Researcher (contract)
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $48-$55/hr
Contract Length: 12 Months
What's the Job?
- Create and implement research plans to derive actionable insights for user experience improvements.
- Work closely with design and product teams to integrate research findings into product strategies.
- Employ a variety of research methods to gather relevant data and insights.
- Analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to inform design and product decisions.
- Collaborate with external analysts and manage research report gathering.
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in UX Research or a related field.
- Master's degree in HCI, Psychology, Anthropology, Information Science, or related field.
- Proficient in various research methodologies and analytics.
- Experience with behavioral, qualitative, and quantitative analysis.
- Knowledge of e-commerce and complex system designs preferred.
- Prior experience in e-commerce or related digital commerce platforms.
- Familiarity with complex system design studies, particularly for SMB and mid-Enterprise segments.
- Experience analyzing log data for user behaviors.
- Business analysis skills, particularly in industry and investment analysis.
