Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Houston, TX for a Rad Tech, Special Procedures, Cath Lab. As a Rad Tech in the Special Procedures department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and assisting in interventional procedures in the Cath Lab. You will operate imaging equipment, prepare patients for procedures, and ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout their experience.

Qualifications

  • Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Special Procedures or Cath Lab setting
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and fluoroscopy equipment
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
