Job Tittle: Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC 28202 (Onsite from Day 1)

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

Required Skills:
1. AWS Public Cloud Admin
2. Terraform
3. GITHUB & CHEF

Tasks:
1. Infrastructure provisioning IAAC using - Terraform, Jenkins, shell / bash scripting & good knowledge with YAML by leveraging the AWS Public Cloud IAAS services.
2. Good understanding with the AWS Cloud Architecture and other infra services in AWS.
3. Good familiarity with Terraform code & development, Creation of Jenkins pipelines and managing the pipelines, building, debugging the core pipeline issues.
4. Good hands-on experience with Source code such as GITHUB / GITLAB or Bitbucket. can able to handle the code efficiently and address the merge conflicts when working with peers.
5. Preferable to have the Groovy (DSL) knowledge as the CI/CD environment stack is based on Groovy framework.

Tools:

AWS public cloud, Terraform, Jenkins, Shell / Bash Scripting, understanding with YAML files , GITHUB & CHEF.

Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems.
Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs.
Provide technical leadership for the delivery team.
Responsible for L3 incident resolution- and problem management .
Bring in effectiveness in terms of change management procedures and change health checks.
Contribute towards Technology Transformation and drive automation initiatives.

Business / Customer:
Understand and articulate complex problems related to the specific technology.
Interface with community network to retain technology competitiveness.
Work with the client team to address escalations and own the resolution during the critical incident scenario.
Plan and implement major change requests and engineering tasks

Project / Process:
Participate in technical audits.
Identify opportunities for automation- standardization and stabilization of environment.
