Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated System Administrator to join our IT team. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain, upgrade, and manage our software, hardware, and networks, ensuring our technology infrastructure operates seamlessly. Key responsibilities include regular system maintenance and upgrades, network management, hardware support, implementing security protocols, performance monitoring, and providing technical support to end-users. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in system and network administration, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities. What You'll Do

    • Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
    • Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative
    • Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems that provide commercial advantage in a global marketplace
    • Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements
    • Provide Tier 2 / 3 support to Service Desk Team
    • Provide VIP and End User IT support to Colibri Office in St. Louis Missouri.
    • Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
    • Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments
    • Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed
    • Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups
What You'll Need to Succeed
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field preferred; applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
    • Advanced knowledge of with Windows 10, 11 and MacOS and Mobile Platforms.
    • Experience managing Windows Server environments.
    • Basic networking knowledge (Firewalls, Routers, Switches, and DNS)
    • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
    • Excellent communication skills
    • SSO Integration Knowledge is a plus
    • Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems.
    • Experience with Office 365, Azure and Active Directory.
    • Experience working with an MSP is a plus.
