We are seeking a Deployment Technician to help our healthcare client with a new hire refresh project. It's 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday, and 6+ month contract with likely extensions. Perm conversion is possible.

5 days onsite in Valley View, OH - must be able to interview next week

Required Skills and Experience *

-2+ years experience as a deployment technician

-Experience in hardware assembly, troubleshooting, and software installation

-Experience hands on handling laptop/ machine swaps/ PC Refreshes

-Ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to 50 lbs)

Job Description *

The Provisioning Technician plays a crucial role in our new hire refresh project. They are responsible for replacing and swapping PCs, building computers, shipping and collecting equipment, and deploying workstations. This dedicated role ensures that our employees have reliable and efficient machines to support their work. Additional responsibilities include:

Workstation Provisioning:

Assemble, configure, and provision workstations according to company standards.

Install operating systems, software applications, and necessary updates.

Set up user profiles, network connectivity, and security settings.

Ensure all hardware components (CPU, RAM, storage, etc.) function properly.

Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory.

Track serial numbers, asset tags, and other identifiers.

Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely equipment delivery.

Deployment and Collection:

Deploy workstations to new hires, ensuring timely setup.

Collect and decommission old equipment from departing employees.

Handle equipment transfers between departments or locations.

Documentation and Reporting:

Update provisioning documentation, including build procedures and checklists.

Generate reports on provisioning activities, inventory levels, and equipment status.

Collaboration:

Work closely with IT support teams, HR, and facilities to streamline processes.

Communicate effectively with end-users during workstation deployments.

Compensation:

$18-$20hr (depending on years of experience).

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
