Skills Required of the Radiology Technologist:
- Current ARRT registration as a Radiology Technologist.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- NYS License or eligible
- One or more years of Radiology Technology experience
- Maintains mandatory CEC-12 per year in Radiology technology.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
- Computer literacy required
Highlights about the Radiology Technologist Position:
- Evening Shift 3 pm- 11 pm
- Hourly $31.93-$36.16
- Performs technical radiographic assignments.
- Exercises complex skills, judgment and knowledge of the principles and methods of Radiologic Technology.
- Performs diagnostic radiographic studies as requested.
- Operates portable diagnostic radiographic equipment where needed.
- Performs Infection Control according to Universal Precautions.
- Radiologic Technologist shall have the ability to provide care to infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
