Crisis Clinician - Per Diem Opportunities

Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based behavioral health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a per diem Crisis Clinicians to join our Mobile Crisis team, assisting individuals and families experiencing a psychiatric crisis.

As a Mobile Crisis Clinician, you'll be working with a team of professionals - including first responders, healthcare providers, and community-based agencies - to stabilize a psychiatric crisis situation, avoid hospitalization and/or incarceration, and initiate immediate community-based treatment. This is a fast-paced, dynamic position that requires flexibility, multi-tasking, and strong crisis management skills. Responsibilities
  • Provide telephone triage for psychiatric crisis calls
  • Provide clinical assessments and interventions in homes and other community locations
  • Provide short-term therapy, case management, and referrals to appropriate services
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or related discipline is required.
  • Eligibility for license as LCMHC, LMFT, LICSW, or Psychologist required; active license preferred.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a mental health treatment environment is required.
  • Availability for night, weekend, and non-traditional hours required.
  • Experience working with adults and/or a forensic population preferred.
  • A valid driver's license, personal vehicle and auto insurance is required.
