Resolve Mental Health PLLC was opened in August of 2019 and is dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals, couples and families. Under the leadership and supervision of Cole Modlin, our practice integrates various therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of our clients. We offer both in-person and online counseling sessions to ensure accessibility and convenience.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mental health, committed to continuous learning, and eager to build a diverse caseload of clients. You would be expected to primarily gain your own clients through marketing but Resolve will potentially refer some clients to you as well. This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of populations, including individuals, couples, and families under the guidance of an experienced and supportive supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional counseling services using evidenced based therapeutic approaches.
  • Build and maintain a caseload of in-person and online clients.
  • Participate in individual and group supervision sessions with Cole Modlin.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to clients' specific needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress.
  • Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in counseling.

Supervision and Professional Development:

  • Receive individual and group supervision from Cole Modlin, whose approach is person-centered and eclectic.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • Receive support and mentorship in developing clinical skills and building a successful practice.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Professional Counseling.
  • Proof of passing the licensing exam to qualify for licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas.
  • Strong commitment to ethical practice and professional growth.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with or interest in learning the Gottman method, emotionally focused therapy, existential therapy, DBT, CBT, and attachment theory.

About the Supervisor:

Cole Modlin has over 10 years of experience in private practice and previously served as the clinical director of a Cook Children's family therapy and temporary residential program for 5 years. Cole specializes in working with couples using the Gottman method and emotionally focused therapy. For individuals, Cole incorporates a person-centered model with interventions from existential therapy, DBT, CBT, and attachment theory.
