Qualifications:
Rising Sophomore to Graduate Students currently enrolled in a college or university
Interns must be willing to attend a two-day orientation on Eastern Standard Time
As a Apigee engineer, you will participate in the definition and implementation of leading API management technologies. You will drive all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of applications. As a member in our team environment you will collaborate with other project managers, stakeholders, solution architects and developers on interpretation and translation of functional requirements and monitor, troubleshoot, and debug issues on API gateway platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, configure and maintain applications based on business requirements.
Implement APIs
Provide documentation and support APIs
Enhance or maintain existing APIs
Knowledge of API best practices and performance
Ability to generate custom API analytics reports
Knowledge of build and deployment methodologies
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and validate requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology feasibility
Support project management activities, such as preparing project plans, tracking progress, and reporting on status
Create detailed documentation of business requirements, process flows, and use cases.
Qualifications:
Working towards Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in using business analysis tools and techniques, such as process modeling, use case diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
Basic understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and business domains.
Knowledge of programming languages, APIs, and other technical skills are a plus, but not mandatory for an Intern role.
