The Position:

The IT Manager will lead a team of IT professionals with various skill sets to help improve and maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware. The IT Manager will seek continuous improvement within the organization, looking for opportunities to improve systems and technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • IT infrastructure: Maintaining systems and networking to ensure they are reliable and up-to-date
  • Software: Tracking, maintaining and developing software
  • Server administration: Managing users, groups, security permissions, and more
  • System administration and self-hosting infrastructure
  • Compliance: Adhering to legal, regulatory, and industry standards
  • Budgeting: Managing the IT budget and allocating resources for projects and operations
  • Policy: Developing and implementing IT policies and best practices
  • Leadership and Training: Creating training programs for staff and leading an IT team
  • Strategy: Act as the principal technology advisor, driving the adoption of cutting-edge solutions.
  • Implementation: Researching, implementing, and training on new systems to include ERP systems
Qualifications:
  • Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience
  • Experience in Agriculture
  • Experience Programming: PHP, Javascript, HTML/CSS, and SQL
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems
  • Expertise in data center management and data governance
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
  • Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical people
  • Understanding of ERP systems
  • Experiencing hiring, training, and managing an IT department with various disciplines
  • BS in Computer Science, MIS, or a similar field
Salary & Benefits:
  • 100k-115k
