Reports To: Director of Warehouse Operations
Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey
Shift: Monday - Friday - 7:30 am – 2:30 pm, Monday – Friday with extra hours till 5 pm with approval from management only. 30-minute lunch break at 12 noon and two 15-minute breaks at 10 am and 2 pm.
Compensation: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour—Temporary to permanent only with good performance and attendance after 90 days.
What You’ll Do
Cenmed Enterprises is a family-owned and operated business representing thirty years of ongoing experience through 2 generations in the medical supply and distribution industry. We are looking for an order picker with expertise in order fulfillment who will coordinate the activities and operations of the warehouse, such as verifying and keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments, unpacking incoming shipments, and preparing outgoing shipments. This is vital in our operations, as you will play a crucial part in maintaining efficient inventory management and customer satisfaction.
- Continuous order picking of various medical supplies.
- Must be detail-oriented, have auditing experience, inventory experience, and picking and packing knowledge.
- Knowledge of medical supplies and experience is a plus.
- Must have basic mathematical skills such as adding, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Must have computer knowledge, the ability to look up items, and an understanding of data entry from ERP systems.
- Understand the unit of measure, piece count, and quantity available.
- Must work independently in a fast-paced environment and pick orders accurately from several locations.
- Stage orders for FedEx packing or delivery.
- The person must be able to walk for extended periods, bend, push, climb ladders, and lift 50 lbs.
- 50% of the company paid for health insurance plus dental insurance.
